His weight begins to fall. His skin turns sickly yellow. He loses his appetite for food and begins to suffer from malnutrition. The sad truth is that more deaths, illnesses, and disabilities are caused by substance abuse than by any other preventable health condition. A  combination of drugs or their intake along with alcohol generally results in overdosing and even deaths. If an abuser donot get the sufficient funds he/she may create voilence  or turn to stealing. At times, a drug abuser becomes the cause of mental /financial distress to His/her family  and friends.
